Skiing holidays at Kronplatz

Winter at Kronplatz: Ski holidays

Say goodbye to everyday drabness, give way to the whiteness of the snow!

Are you looking for a winter wonderland where you can have fun on the slopes? You’ve found it! Book your snow holiday in Olang! You will spend exciting days on the Kronplatz, South Tyrol’s # 1 skiing mountain! Here, alpine skiers, snowboarders and cross country skiers will be fully satisfied. 119 kilometres of slopes and 32 modern ski lifts await you. The free ski bus and ski train take you to the ski lifts in a blink of the eye.

Are you one of those people who start skiing at nine o’clock in the morning and return from the slopes when the sun goes down? Then, we recommend the Dolomiti Superski Skipass: it is valid for 460 ski lifts and offers snow fanatics over 1,220 kilometres of beautiful slopes, including breathtaking views!

Did you know that Olang is home to several toboggan Olympic champions? This only means that the toboggan slopes in the Puster Valley must be perfect. For example, the Panorama slope is one of the most modern natural tracks in the world and is also equipped with an lighting system.

Even lovers of cross country skiing will find a true paradise: Olang has 10 km of cross country skiing tracks, and the Puster Valley has 200 km. We recommend: the cross country tracks on the beautiful plateau of Plätzwiese, the circuits in the Nordic Arena of Toblach, the slopes in the silent Gsiesertal Valley, the idyllic Reintal, and of course the famous Biathlon centre of Antholz.

More advice from our expert, Paul:

- Ski on the Kronplatz and stop at the Lorenzi hut or the Oberegger Alm mountain farm.
- What highlight should not be missed? Sella Ronda, with a stop for lunch at the Bioch or Jimmy huts.
- A “must”: ski at least once on the slopes of Cortina and the Tre Cime Dolomiti ski area, stopping at the Rudi hut on Rotwandwiesen, to greet the reindeer.

Recommendations made by Jörg:

Cross-country skiing with panoramic views of the Gsiesertal Valley, and regaining your strength in Graf di Colle’s restaurant.

We look forward to you!
